STUDENT RESOURCES

The Simple Dollar

Each year, billions of dollars in financial aid funds are released by federal and state agencies to college students nationwide. While these funds are a gift for many students, the sudden windfall can also be tempting for young naive spenders. In the course of our research, we found that many who found themselves with student loan debt wished they had understood how to budget and the importance of money management earlier.

With that in mind, The Simple Dollar created a guide that provides advice from financial experts, as well as practical budgeting tips, including a student budgeting calculator.
