The most successful fundraisers use the power of great storytelling to engage donors and raise more money. If writing that story for your organization’s appeals, newsletters, presentations and media falls under one of the many hats you wear, you can benefit from attending Insider Copywriting Tips for Nonprofit Storytelling. This hands-on workshop will be presented by Mary Guinane, owner of The Write Answer, on October 30th from 5:30-8:30PM at the RAP Foundation. Pre-registration is required.

Participants will work with information specific to their individual organization and are asked to bring one copy of a previous donor appeal and 1-3 client stories you’re considering featuring in upcoming donor communications. Tips and specific techniques will help you find and fine-tune copy in time for all your important year-end communications. Immediate feedback as part of the workshop will allow you to leave with copy already well under way to being donor-ready.

In addition, participants will be given the opportunity to follow-up the workshop with a one-on-one consultation with Mary who has fifteen years of experience writing compelling copy for nonprofits across the country.

**Due to the interactive nature of this workshop, seating is limited 10. (One attendee per organization, please.)

IMPORTANT!

Please bring the following with you to the workshop:

  • one copy of a previous donor appeal from your organization
  • 1-3 client stories for possible inclusion in your appeal
